So I recently dropped a new project titled "SpaceBootyMusic" and I think its pretty dope. Let me talk about the development before I drop the link.
So I'm having a chat with a recent friend I met and I told him that we should make an ep title space booty music but he inclined that he didn't have the time for it. So I was like cool, I'll do it myself bro and from there, SBM was a go.
When I first started to look for samples I didn't know what exactly I wanted to do, it was really random at first. Things wasn't sounding like I wanted it to sound. This was early June and I planned on releasing it towards the end of that month. That was the biggest differences from this project, I set myself a time frame, a bit of a theme to work with, spacey, vocals, samples, trippy drums and other shit like that.
By the time I've reached the middle of the month, SBM was finally sounding exactly how I wanted it to. The homie Mr. Alexis, who is also featured on the tape was my second ear throughout the process. I nearly sent him the whole tape before it was finished lol. And also the homie Seldom, her advice was everything I needed to put in the finishing touches on the tracks. Overall I believe I did good. It was fun, like I would come home from my (dead end job) -___- and just dive straight into the project like I was getting paid for it lol :) The experience was well deserved though, I learned more about my music and developed a ton as a producer. Much love to you all.
... Peace
